Position Overview:
We are looking for an Analyst (Junior Associate) to support a leading originator and their team in screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting and documentation of potential CMBS Conduit CRE loan opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the full loan due diligence and assisting with the preparation of Asset Summary Reports required for securitization. Given our client's unique culture and structure, candidates will be exposed to the full-breadth of conduit loan originations, pricing, capital markets and other activities in commercial real estate lending and securitization.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide analytical support in the screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting and closing of commercial real estate loans
- Work closely with more senior underwriters in the preparation of credit committee reports with cash flow, risks and strengths, borrower / sponsor, and market analysis
- Perform site inspections, determine appropriate market comparables for property valuation and asset summary report, and complete tenant analyses
- Review third party reports, property leases, and financial statements as part of the due diligence process
- Assist with loan closings and procure needed closing items
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years’ experience in CMBS loan underwriting or similar
- Excellent communication skills, willingness to work as part of a larger team
- Strong financial modelling / excel skills
- This position must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($100,000 - $125,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.
