As part of the SITUSAMC Endpoint Management Team, the System Administrator provides technical and administrative support for physical endpoints, virtual endpoints, and all supporting infrastructure. Responsible for handling day-to-day technology operations by providing suitable templates for imaging, completing support tasks for hardware and software issues, assisting with Endpoint Management escalations, and providing systems updates for end users. Other main functions include planning and implementing innovative Endpoint Management solutions to the existing network environment.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Act as point of escalation for Endpoint Management team
  • Using company ticketing software to record, track and document problem solving process
  • Apply company approved diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
  • Access FAQ resources on the Internet/Intranet to aid in problem resolution
  • Perform trouble resolution fixes remotely or in person, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications
  • Regularly confers with database programmers, analysts, other systems administrators and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs
  • Assist in software patch releases and roll-outs according to company Change Management best practices
  • Continuously improve upon technical skills sets within assigned areas of expertise
  • Assist in training of Endpoint Management staff
  • Participate in company and department provided training
  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents
  • Provides planning, analysis, implementation and testing of complex operating system software upgrades or new releases and assess any impact to other software products being utilized
  • Provides planning, analysis, implementation, and testing of COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) software upgrades or new releases
  • Interfaces with appropriate SITUSAMC staff or vendor during installation and in resolution of any problems
  • Provides technical expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex problems and takes appropriate action to ensure maintenance of stated performance objectives to maximize system availability and minimize response time
  • Provides appropriate documentation/reports to management
  • Performs capacity/performance analysis, problem analysis, testing and tuning to ensure efficient use of resources. This includes the development of appropriate reporting
  • Provides comprehensive on-call support for assigned operating system(s) and software products in event of production malfunctions
  • Analyzes, resolves, and documents modifications to the operating system in resolution of system malfunction
  • Works with all SITUSAMC staff to determine the impact of new or revised applications on existing systems software
  • Assist in maintaining patching of SitusAMC environment
  • Maintain and implement configuration and security settings on all Windows endpoint operating systems
  • Maintain familiarity with all Microsoft security/audit requirements and controls
  • Develop/maintain documentation to meet security/audit requirements
  • Experience in Review/Monitor Vendor Service Portal website and other vendor forums for updates/patches to keep systems up to date
  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mid-level professional with 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent
  • Two or more years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient with Endpoint Management administration
  • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Advanced knowledge of the creation and maintenance of operating system images (physical & Virtual), application packages and task sequences
  • Advanced knowledge of patch management methodologies
  • Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office suites and Office365 Applications.
  • Advanced working knowledge of software and hardware diagnostic tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
  • Strong documentation skills and a willingness to assist with documentation
  • Proficient in basic network and security fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of change management process
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Self-Starter with ability to work as part of a team and individually as required by specific project needs
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Possess the traits of having patience, being thorough and innovative
  • Must be able to physically handle and set up technology equipment. Can require lifting up to 30lbs
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues is required

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($65,000 - $95,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.  All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
