Our client is a commercial real estate lender and debt investor that is committed to developing successful, long-term customer and client relationships that are built on integrity, advocacy, and reliability. Founded on a strong and disciplined credit culture, our client offers a deep, discrete understanding of CRE lending and credit, as well as capital markets. Their senior management team brings an average of thirtytwenty years of specialized experience through multiple CRE cycles, a host of disciplines, and the full spectrum of CRE debt products.

Our client is seeking a Transaction Manager who will focuses on opportunistic transitional deals across asset classes and all over the country.

Position Overview:
The Transaction Manager will be responsible for the full range of responsibilities that goes with commercial real estate deal closings for complex permanent and construction loans. You will be involved from term sheet through the closing of the loans.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Draft loan applications/ term sheets based on parameters from capital markets and underwriting
  • Interface with senior partners and team members and outside counsel
  • Interact with borrowers and brokers to ensure timely delivery of due diligence
  • Review legal due diligence
  • Coordinate with loan underwriters re: non-legal due diligence
  • Interact with the loan originators to ensure deal closing progresses smoothly
  • Review loan documents
  • Address borrower inquiries, and have proper judgment/experience to know when issues should be elevated
  • Ensure that loan documentation reflects the approved conditions and structures
  • Work with internal business teams to ensure transaction process follows compliance guidelines
  • Interface with asset management and post closers on new asset onboarding
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as paralegal or practicing attorney at a law firm or as a loan closer at a commercial real estate loan originator
  • Ability to read and understand commercial real estate loan documentation
  • Familiarly with credit agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment which requires a flexible and adaptable style
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and accuracy skills
  • Be a self-starter, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in Word
  • Strong understanding of [prevailing] CRE Debt Practices and market concessions as well as associated legal risks and mitigants.
The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($105,000 - $120,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.  All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
